Privacy Policy
Draft for review. This is not a final legal opinion. 11 October 2026
Who we are
OW Wallet (“OW”) publishes this non-custodial wallet and the site ow.money. Contact support@ow.money. We do not hold your coins and we cannot sign for you.
Keys stay on the device
The mnemonic, private key, seed, PIN, and vault ciphertext are not uploaded. Crash reports and product events are scrubbed of those values. We cannot reset a PIN or restore a lost seed.
Product events
When analytics is on, the app sends an install id, an event name, app version, operating system, locale, storefront code, and properties such as venue, chain id, a public transaction hash, and an error code. These events do not include an IP address, an email, a mnemonic, a PIN, a signature payload, a local address label, or a raw balance.
Device, IP, and risk telemetry
A separate risk signal can include a device id, device model, operating system version, app version, a public address, a chain, and an OW ID. The server may read the connection IP. That IP is encrypted, kept for 90 days by default, then truncated. The wallet does not send this risk signal until this policy and the store privacy nutrition labels name it. Export of risk records needs two staff approvals. We do not use IP or nationality to decide whether the app opens.
Crash reports
The app uses Sentry (organization cevtar, project ow-wallet-app). Default personal data is off. Session replay is off. Events are scrubbed before they leave the device.
OW ID, support, and partners
An OW ID stores the name and the public addresses you sign for. The signature is a public proof of control, not a key. If you email support, we store the address you typed, the locale, and the message. Licensed buy and sell providers collect what their own pages disclose. RPC providers and the networks you use see the public address and the transaction you broadcast, as they would for any wallet.
Your law, and restricted features
You are responsible for the laws that apply to you. OW does not check nationality and does not run KYC. Whether the app is listed is controlled by the App Store and Google Play storefront, including China mainland and sanctioned regions where it is not listed. Inside a listed storefront, A trading or lending feature can still be off where that network’s own terms or geoblock say so. Those switches are remote config.
Retention and choices
Product events are kept for 180 days. Support tickets are kept for two years after they close. You may email support@ow.money to ask about a support ticket or an OW ID you control. On-chain transactions cannot be deleted.
